Pre-Operative Education Classes
Our goal is to make your visit with use as pleasant and successful as possible. One way we do that is to teach you and a family member (or friend) the details of your hospital stay. On the day of your Out-Patient Testing, you will attend a Pre-Operative Education class with a family member or friend. The class is a great chance to learn what to expect during your hospital stay and what you can do to prevent complications. A popular highlight of this class is learning relaxation techniques to help you be calm before and after surgery. These easy techniques can help your recovery process.
The Pre-OP Education Class is held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Monday through Thursday in the 6 West Conference Room. There is no class held on Fridays. A snack will be provided during your class.
