Lourdes Internal Medicine Physician Elected Fellow of American College of Physicians

McLintock, GlennGlenn R. McLintock, MD, FACP, Chief of the Division of Primary Care at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the society of internists. The distinction recognizes achievement in internal medicine, a specialty of adult medical care.

Dr. McLintock was elected upon the recommendation of peers and the review of ACP’s Credentials Subcommittee. His credentials now include “FACP” after his name in recognition of this honor. Dr. McLintock was formally inducted at the American College of Physicians Internal Medicine meeting in Washington, D.C.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. McLintock has been practicing medicine at Lourdes since 1998. He performed his residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College — Thomas Jefferson University. At Jefferson, he was named the Alexander and Lottie Katzman Award winner for Excellence in Gastroenterology. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. McLintock is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

The American College of Physicians is the second-largest physician group in the United States. Membership includes more than 137,000 internists, related subspecialists, and medical students. Internists are specialists in the prevention, detection, and treatment of illnesses in adults.
