Give the Gift of Life at One of Three Lourdes Blood Drives this January

Camden, NJ — Although 60 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood, only five percent does so, according to the American Red Cross.

That five percent must meet 100 percent of the need for blood in our country.

During the winter months, fewer donors tend to give, so donations are especially needed. You can give the gift of life by donating blood on Tuesday, January 19, at one of these two Lourdes Health System locations:

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center – Auditorium
1600 Haddon Avenue
Camden, NJ
7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County – Cafeteria
218 Sunset Road
Willingboro, NJ
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All presenting donors will receive a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.

On Wednesday, January 13, donors can give the gift of life at LourdesCare at Cherry Hill — conference room, 1 Brace Road, Cherry Hill, NJ, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. All presenting donors at LourdesCare at Cherry Hill will also receive a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.

To make an appointment to donate at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden or LourdesCare at Cherry Hill, call Tina Bortner at 609-326-6041. To make an appointment to donate at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, call Peggy Cossette Bauer at 609-835-5813. For further information on blood donation, visit the American Red Cross website at http://www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation.
