Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing Congratulates 2015 Graduates

SON May2015graduation2Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing recently held commencement exercises at Camden County College in Blackwood. Twenty-seven students graduated with a diploma in nursing and an associate of science degree from Camden County College.

Jennifer Moughan, Chief Human Resources Officer, Lourdes Health System; and Dr. Anne McGinley, Dean of Nursing, Health Sciences and Human Resources, Camden County College, presented the diplomas to the graduates. Dr. Lisa Easterby, Dean, Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing, presented the School pins.

The following awards were given:

  • Anthony Repici, MD Award for Excellence in Clinical Pediatric Nursing:  Samantha Brant
  • M. John Francis Coyle, OSF Award for Caring:  Gerard Schuler, Jr.
  • Jordan Middleton Award for Patient Advocacy:  Lavon Smith
  • Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing Alumni Award:  Ana Rodriguez
  • M. Elizabeth Corry, OSF Award:  Samantha Brant
  • Anthony V. Ziccardi, MD Award for Excellence in Clinical Obstetrical Nursing:  Sharae Russell
  • Vincent T. McDermott, MD Award for Excellence in Medical/Surgical Nursing:  Leonard Balcer, III
  • William Forrest Rahl Award for Demonstrating the “6 Pearls of Practice”:  Anastasia Kiyasheva
  • Walter F. Wabby Award for Excellence in Emergency Room Nursing:  Zachary Weidensaul
  • Agnes Berger, RN Award for Excellence in Perioperative and Surgical Nursing:  Amanda Liguori
  • Linda B. Napieralski Memorial Award for Demonstrating Extraordinary Dedication to the Profession of Nursing:  Iynez Mendez
