Cardiology for Primary Care is planned to provide a forum to introduce and familiarize primary care physicians and other healthcare providers to the American College of Cardiology Guidelines and to promote their utilization. The goal is for attendees to gain knowledge and promote enhanced utilization of current cardiovascular guidelines leading to improved patient outcomes.
The objective of any CME program is to improve patient care. Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Identify and risk stratify patients with cardiovascular disease.
- Manage patients with known arrhythmias and other cardiovascular disease states.
- Apply current ACC guidelines and appropriate use criteria to treat patients with cardiovascular disease.
