LourdesNet Presents The Project Pink Fashion Show
On Thursday October 13, 2011, Lourdes Health System and its young development group, LourdesNet, will host the Project Pink Fashion Show at the Crowne Point Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and a three course dinner and fashion show will follow at 7:00 p.m. Also included in the evening will be a gift basket raffle and a 50-50. Fashions provided by Marlene’s of Collingswood. Models will include members of Lourdes Medical staff as well as associates. Tickets are $55 each. Sponsorship/Advertising opportunities which include show tickets, advertising opportunities and gift basket raffle tickets range from range from $250 - $5000. Proceeds from the Project Pink Fashion show will go to support Lourdes Health System’s Caring Boutique, A Cancer Resource Center. This boutique provides all women in the area with wigs, prosthetic bras, and pillows to use with seatbelts all free of charge. In addition, The Caring Boutique, A Cancer Resource Center also provides resources such as books, DVD’s and access to the internet on all types of cancer.
LourdesNet Holiday Blanket Delivery
On December 20th members of LourdesNet, Lourdes' Young Leadership Group, handed out blankets to patients at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. The LourdesNet volunteers got 100 blankets donated and they distributed them to patients throughout the medical center.
Annual Corks & Cuisine Event
LourdesNet's first event, Corks & Cuisine, is well on its way becoming an annual success! The first event was held on May 8, 2009 at the Collingswood Community Center. Local restaurants and wineries donated appetizers and wine and participants were able to sample a taste of Collingswood.
In 2010 the event moved to The Wine Room in Cherry Hill. Attendees sampled a variety of local wines and delicacies provided by the venue.
To date, Corks and Cuisine has raised over $5,700.

Fall Into Fashion: An Interactive Runway Show
On October 14th LourdesNet, Lourdes' young professional society, hosted Fall Into Fashion: An Interactive Runway Show at Riverton County Club. The event raised over $12,000 for the new digital mammography unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Guests enjoyed a premier gift basket raffle and 50/50 and interactive fashion show with fashions from Marlene’s in Collingswood. One of the highlights of the evening featured Lourdes associates as models on the catwalk.
