Donating Blood
Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center sponsors a blood drive 4 times a year. The dates for 2007 are Monday January 29, Monday April 23, Wednesday June 27 and Wednesday September 26 from 7AM to 7PM in the Rehab Solarium on the 2nd floor of the Medical Center.Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County will hold a blood drive on Monday September 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Donor Bus parked in the front parking lot. Donors can sign up online to donate: by going to www.pleasegiveblood.org/donate, enter e-mail address, DOB, and sponsor code which is 4F80. Click on the highlighted date and schedule your appointment.
All blood types are needed however Type O blood is always in short supply because in an emergency situation, when there is no time to determine blood type, Type O is used.
