Stroke is often diagnosed using radiology studies. At Lourdes, we are committed to providing fast, 24-hour access to CT scans carotid ultrasound, as well as diagnostic and interventional angiography. In addition to conventional forms of physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapies, the Lourdes Stroke Center uses the most advanced treatment approaches, including the following:
- Carotid endarterectomy and angioplasty;
- Carotid stents;
- Interventional neuroradiologic techniques;
- Microvascular neurosurgery
- Clot-dissolving drugs.
