Robotic Gynecologic Surgery
Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center offers gynecologic surgery using the da Vinci® STM Robotic Surgical System.
Howard M. Saul, D.O., and Gerald V. Burke, M.D., are performing procedures such as hysterectomies, myomectomies and oophorectomies with the da Vinci®, an advanced minimally invasive tool that gives surgeons unparalleled precision and flexibility in performing delicate procedures. The da Vinci® is considered to be the "next generation" of laparoscopic surgery. Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center is one of the few hospitals in the region with the latest advance in the da Vinci system. Lourdes began offering robotic-assisted prostate surgeries last year.
