For Physicians
This section of the Lourdes Health System website focuses on information of specific interest to our physicians.
Lourdes StoryCorps Project
In December, Lourdes Health System participated in StoryCorps, a national initiative
to document everyday history and the unique stories of Americans. StoryCorps is the
largest oral history project of its kind, traveling the country to record stories and
promote honoring and celebrating lives through listening.
StoryCorps interviews are conducted between two people who know each other. A trained
facilitator guides the participants through the interview process and at the end of
the session, the participants leave with a CD of their interview. A second copy becomes
part of an archive at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
StoryCorps is in partnership with NPR and excerpts of select stories are broadcast
weekly on NPR's Morning Edition.
StoryCorps recorded 18 stories from Lourdes board members, physicians and associates.
Excerpts of these sessions will familiarize the public with the quality and depth of the
individuals who serve our organization.
Physician Spotlight
Lourdes is proud of our physicians for the difference they make in the lives so many every day. This section recognizes their many accomplishments.
Physician Orientation
The Physician Orientation module was designed for physicians new to the Lourdes Health System. The orientation must be completed as part of the credentialing process. Please note that the mandatory section must be completed at one time. If you leave the section, you will have to start from the beginning the next time you access the section. At the end of the section, you will be able to print a certificate which you must mail to Medical Affairs with your appointment package. Get started now.
