Lourdes Staff Donate Backpacks, School Supplies to Camden Area Children

Lourdes Health System staff today filled 300 new school backpacks with pads, pencils and other school supplies as they marked the successful completion of Lourdes' fifth annual backpack and school supply drive to benefit young clients of the system's Osborn Family Health Center.
Located in a state-of-the-art facility across the street from Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, Osborn Family Health Center has been providing primary and specialty care to poor and underserved area residents more than 30 years. Osborn serves more than 45,000 patients a year, maintaining a special focus on providing optimal prenatal care and offering patients top-quality care delivered in a comfortable, private-practice setting.
Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, a 410-bed teaching hospital in Camden, New Jersey, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of southern New Jersey residents and is particularly devoted to caring for those most in need. Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., the medical center is part of Lourdes Health System, which also includes Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, New Jersey.
