CAMDEN – Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center will be hosting its popular nursing camp again this summer. The nursing camp will be held from July 30 through August 3. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The camp is open to students entering or completing the 8th or 9th grade during the 2007 school year. The focus of the camp is to learn about nursing as a career. Students will also receive CPR and basic first aid training, have the opportunity to tour the hospital and interact with a variety of healthcare professionals and learn about other healthcare careers.

There is no cost to attend but registrations are limited. Criteria for acceptance will include an essay indicating interest in nursing or the healthcare field and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor.
