Lourdes invites you to give the gift of Service this season by baking homemade, holiday cookies and "donating" them to Project H.O.P.E. clients.

The holidays are a particularly rough time for Project H.O.P.E. clients.

Something as simple as a homemade holiday cookie could bring a small amount of cheer to those less fortunate. Our goal is to give each cookie recipient one dozen homemade holiday cookies.

Cookie donations will be collected on Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. in the Rehab Solarium. All those interested in participating should bring 5-6 dozen homemade, holiday cookies, which will then be repackaged and distributed via Project H.O.P.E.'s street outreach team. (To limit risk of food allergy – please make "NUT FREE" cookies – e.g, NO NUTS!)

There will be a small sampling of the donated cookies for those who participate, complete with coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
