Lourdes Caring Boutique
The Lourdes Cancer Program understands that women need more than just medical care when dealing with breast cancer. They also are dealing with issues of how they look and feel.
The Caring Boutique helps women undergoing treatment feel their best. In conjunction with the American Cancer Society, the boutique offers a variety of items, including:
- free wigs;
- free temporary and permanent prostheses, including bras;
- pillows to use with prosthesis or seat belts.
"Our services are available to all women in the community, not just Lourdes patients," said Denise Cortland, R.N., Administrator of the Cancer Program.
