Safe Sitter is a nationally known and recognized program given in all 50 states. It is designed for 11-13 year old adolescents. The purpose is to increase the availability of young adolescent babysitters who can provide safe, nurturing care for child and who can respond appropriately to medical emergencies. It is a two session course that includes the following topics:
v Babysitting as a business
v Babysitting ethics such as when its OK to cancel or refuse a job
v Personal safety
v How to care for children including diapering, holding an infant, feeding
To register, complete the attached form and return with your check. Space is limited.
Student should bring a baby doll to class.
