Frequently Asked Questions

What is an e-Greeting Card?
An e-Greeting Card is an electronic greeting sent via email to a patient at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center or Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County.

How Does it Work?
Simply complete all of the information fields above and then select the name of the hospital to send the greeting. Please note: if you do not know the room number, Patient Relations can access the room number only based on the patient's full name.

A representative from Volunteer Services will print the message and deliver to the patient's room. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday during the hours listed below. Please note that delivery hours vary depending on the hospital. E-Greetings sent after normal delivery hours or on the weekends will be delivered the following business day.

Please note that e-Greeting Cards received after the patient has been discharged cannot be forwarded and will be destroyed. We also ask that you refrain from including sensitive, personal or offensive language in your e-Greeting Card.

Can the Patient Respond to My Message?
No, patients can only receive the printed e-Greeting cards. However, Lourdes Health System does offer wireless internet service for patients and their families who have their own laptops. If you would like to correspond via email with a patient, please consult with a family member.
